About Me.
I am a recent graduate of Rowan University with a degree in Vocal Music Education and a Certificate of Undergraduate Study in Violin Performance. As a passionate and versatile music educator, I’ve taught private voice and violin lessons at Mannington Music School and Haddonfield Music School, interned with the Rowan Community Music School, and currently serve as the choir director at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Glassboro.
During my time at Rowan, I completed my student teaching under Lauren Lam and Katy Akinskas and was honored with the 2025 Barbara Chamberlain Medallion Award for Excellence in Music Education. I was actively involved in professional organizations, serving as treasurer for Sigma Alpha Iota’s Kappa Alpha Chapter and participating in Rowan’s chapters of NAfME and ACDA.
Alongside my teaching, I bring a strong background in performance to my educational practice. I studied voice under Karen Huffstodt and performed in numerous operatic productions and choral ensembles, gaining experience in both classical and early music. These experiences continue to shape my holistic, student-centered approach to music education.
